Since Brent's Deli (of Northridge fame) opened in Westlake Village, the place has been packed. If you haven't heard, the LAPD scored in a major drug bust on Thursday. A police raid netted $1 million in pot, cash and guns from a Jamaican drug ring operating out of a Westlake apartment (300 block of West 2nd Street) near downtown. (Now don't confuse the area with LA's Westlake Village suburb, which is about as far on the neighborhood spectrum as you can get.)
