Actor Tom Sizemore Arrested for Domestic Violence

Speaking of domestic violence, Actor Tom Sizemore was arrested on those charges late last night. Police picked him up on the 100 block of Beaudry Avenue around 10:45 p.m. He remained in jail this morning in lieu of a $20,000 bail. "Over the last few years, Sizemore, 47, has developed a troubled history with the law," says the LA Times. "In August 2003 he was convicted of misdemeanor charges of physically abusing and harassing his ex-girlfriend, the former 'Hollywood Madam' Heidi Fleiss. In February 2005 Sizemore failed a court-ordered drug test after he was caught trying to use a prosthetic penis to defeat a urine test and was ordered into drug rehabilitation for two years." He was arrested in 2007 for possessing methamphetamine.

LAist hasn't done much in the way of covering trials featuring celebrities or the pseudo-celebrity: do you care? If something interesting happens, like Corey Feldman goes on TV and actually says something relavent (and, just so you know, his 20/20 interview had none of that), of course we'll have something to say about it here but otherwise, well, we're just not that into it.

- Tom Sizemore isn't a Whiz kid.

Actor Tom Sizemore thought he could pull a fast one. Using a device called "The Whizzinator" (pictured, in a safe-for-work version) he showed up for -- and failed -- a February 1 drug test. The device features a repository for drug-free pee, heat packs, and underwear attached to a prosthetic male pee-delivery device. Apparently, Sizemore neglected to warm the clean pee, and the judge figured out his game. Sizemore, who is on probation, was required to pass a urinalysis test before leaving the country to begin shooting a film in Cambodia. While the judge called Sizemore's drug use "out of control", we find the dependence upon prosthetic devices and borrowed pee to be equally troubling.
