Avalanche 4, Kings 2 - The Avs buried Los Angeles with two quick goals about a minute apart in the first period, and never looked back. The Kings managed a mere 21 shots on goal, and Colorado sent them to their fourth straight loss. USC 83, Delaware State 54 - This one was almost painful to watch. Well, UCLA, it was fun while it lasted. But the 2004-05 came to a non-descript end last night as Bobby Knight's Red Raiders out-muscled the Bruins 78-66. While Dijon Thompson had a decent senior game, UCLA clearly needed a better performance from Jordan Farmar who was constantly frustrated and finished with a measley 3 points on 1-9 shooting. According to ESPN's Andy Katz, USC and Rick Majerus have come to terms on a five-year deal. USC fans should be jumping for joy. Rick Majerus is without question, one of the best coaches in all of college basketball. He's in the same league as Coach K, Roy Williams, Lute Olson, Jim Calhoun, or Rick Pitino.
