This year's annual William S. Paley Television Festival (also known as PaleyFest) will feature some LAist favorites. The up close and personal television event is sponsored by the Paley Center for Media, and begins April 10 at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome. Tickets go on sale to the public Sunday at 9 a.m. and they're likely to sell out within 24 hours, if not sooner. Most PaleyFest events treat fans to clips from each program (sometimes never-before-seen material) and include a panel discussion with questions from a moderator and the audience. In addition, each panel page on the PaleyFest website now includes an option for fans to submit questions prior to the event. This year's lineup is a strong one and it features: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 90210, True Blood, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Dollhouse, The Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, Desperate Housewives, Unaired Pushing Daisies Episodes, Battlestar Galactica, The Hills, Big Love, Fringe and Swingtown.

Lately it's been all about the 3-D, and lately it's been all about anything Turner-flavored (they seem to be pumping out new shows on TNT and TBS every other day), so naturally the two must meet. On February 14th, because they love you, TNT will team up with Cinedigm to broadcast TNT's coverage of "NBA All-Star Saturday Night" in 3-D to 160+/- theaters in 35 states. If only they chose a real game, then we'd be a bit more interested.

To kick off the second season of ABC's TV show "Pushing Daisies" the TV network's Mobile Pie Hole truck is down at Santa Monica's 3rd Street Promenade today handing out small apple, cherry and peach pies til 3pm. Not familiar with the Emmy-nominated dramedy show about a pie maker who has the ability to resurrect the dead? Footage of it will be playing on plasma TV screens during the giveaway. Yum!

Now of course, it's important to remember that you might get these shows on DVD, and DVD residuals are an issue of debate in the strike, so you might not feel comfortable renting them. If that's the case, I'd recommend watching Clark and Michael on loop. For everyone else, it's Canceled TV Disco Party Island after the jump!

Tuesdays will be the worse for the lack of Damages until when, next Summer?!?! There seems to be just a couple worthy prime time choices tonight despite a full plate of new offerings that have, to me, seemed mediocre.
