Last month, local record label Nettwerk hosted a sneak preview of EA's first-person parkour-inspired action-adventure Mirror's Edge at The Sync in Hollywood, with a demo station offering a chance to play as the lead character, Faith, as she leapt across rooftops and engaged in hand-to-hand combat: Mirror's Edge aims to "convey the strain and physical contact with the environment", according to senior producer Owen O'Brien, and to instill a freedom of movement not yet seen......

Last month, the local electropop duo Uh Huh Her (MySpace), consisting of Leisha Hailey, formerly of The Murmurs, and Carmila Grey, formerly of Mellowdrone (MySpace), performed at Nettwerk's The Sync in Hollywood.
