They're still burning, but things are calming. The Sayre Fire that began Friday night in Sylmar and has moved up into the Angeles National Forest and into the Santa Clarita Valley is 85% contained as of 8 a.m. after burning 11,234 acres. No new structures are reported to have been destroyed or damaged leaving the unfortunate total at 489 homes. The cause is still unknown. Full containment of the Triangle Complex Fire is expected today.......

Officials today announced the cause of the Tea Fire, which ignited on Thursday night, burning through today and destroying 210 homes and scorching 1,940 acres between Montecito and Santa Barbara.
