It's been more than a month since Moe the Chimp took voluntary leave of his digs at Devore's Jungle Exotics, and he hasn't been found. So now it's time to call off the search, since there aren't enough funds or resources to keep the hunt active. His trainers hope that the missing chimp is still alive, and now just hope he'll "make an appearance." Multiple sightings of what may have been Moe, from a nudist resort to folks driving around Big Bear to a stranded hiker, haven't helped pin down the wandering chimpanzee. Maybe will Moe will wander home, after all.
