Reports yesterday out of Toronto indicating that murder suspect Ryan Alexander Jenkins was arrested after arriving to the Canadian city by air turned out to be a miscue after authorities determined the had the wrong man. The search continues across the border for the reality show contestant who is believed to have killed his wife, model and Playboy rep Jasmine Fiore, then left her mutilated body in a suitcase in Buena Park dumpster before reporting her missing and fleeing.

It began with the remains of a woman found stuffed into a suitcase left in a Buena Park dumpster on Saturday. Two days later, authorities made the connection between the corpse and the case of a missing model who had moved here recently from Las Vegas, Jasmine Fiore, a former stripper and current Playboy representative.

The LAPD and family of Jasmine Fiore are asking the public's help in finding her since she last disappeared last week. Fiore, who has modeled in the past--a cursory internet search indicates experience with Playboy, Lingerie Bowl, Hawaiian Tropic and as a promotional model--was last seen Friday around 8 p.m. at her residence on the 800 block of Edinburgh Avenue close to Fairfax and Melrose. A recent transplant from Las Vegas, he vehicle is a white, 2007 Mercedes CL S550 with black rims, tinted windows, and paper plates that read, “Platinum Motors.” The 28-year-old is described as white with brown hair (she used to be blonde), blue eyes, 5'7" and around 120 pounds.

       

A new exhibit honoring actress Sharon Tate opened this weekend, timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the iconic Hollywood blonde's brutal murder by members of Charles Manson's "Family." ICON is described as a mixed media exhibition honoring the life and style of Tate which features the work of Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell. Included in this art and fashion-based showing are items from the actress' "never before revealed wardrobe," many of which were worn by model Lauren Hastings, who was photographed in the outfits.

Playboy has been struggling as of late, but today they celebrate with their 55th Anniversary Issue that has one of their most popular girls ever, Carmen Electra, on the cover. She's appeared in the magazine four times since 1996, twice as a cover girl.

Model Bettie Page, 85, died last night from pneumonia after being hospitalized last week in Los Angeles for a heart attack.

The girl not from next door, Bettie Page, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday. The 85-year-old former model remains "critically ill," her agent says. She is reportedly in a coma.

Paige Peterson, a Maxim model, a player in the Lingerie Bowl and the girl who played the hot orgy girl in "Meet the Spartans" was arrested last night in Hollywood for allegedly trying to beat up her boyfriend. Officially, that would misdemeanor domestic battery, although he was reportedly not hurt. "Law enforcement sources say she was one of the worst inmates ever in jail, 'yelling, kicking and fighting' inside her cell," TMZ found. "She was so bad, cops had to handcuff her to the bench in the holding cell."

Is the uber highest paid supermodel-out-there Gisele Bündchen moving to Los Angeles? TMZ seems to think so as they have obtained documents that her boyfriend, NFL New England Patriots star Tom Brady, has bought an $11 million 3-acre property (no house, just land) on Arnold Schwarzenegger's street in Brentwood.

Sleazeballs are still using that shtick of telling women that they could be models and if they take photos with him, he's got the connections to get them with the right industry people. Last week, the LAPD arrested Miguel Angel Barrera, 44, of Chino Hills, for doing just that and taking it one step further by sexually assaulting the women during the photo shoots.
