Now that the Tribune company has filed for bankruptcy, and the L.A. Times has cut its staff to the bone, it's no wonder that they don't have enough staff to keep up with the fast-paced dynamics of news on the Web. So yesterday, when NPR West had its own bloodletting, the city's paper of record unfortunately had some trouble keeping up. Check out the above photo and read the caption. National Public Radio is cutting two daily shows and the majority of its Culver City-based NPR West staff as part of companywide layoffs and program cuts announced today.
