“This reads like the list of horses at the Hollywood Park Racetrack,” my friend said, flipping though my copy of the LA Shorts Fest program. He had a point -- Free Lunch, Hove (The Wind), Schrodinger's Cat -- these film short titles could easily inspire the naming of a racehorse.
