Terry Wunder of The Wunder Blog sent us this video story of 6 Angelenos and 6 LA Food Trucks. They chat with the truck operators and talk shop, and, of course, eat. Terence Blanchard, Nicholas Payton, Christian McBride and Jimmy Cobb are amongst some of the musicians joining forces tonight to celebrate the work of jazz greats Miles Davis and Gil Evans. Tonight's performance will feature music from collaborative works by the two greats, including the highly acclaimed Sketches of Spain, Miles Ahead and Porgy and Bess. One night only, starting at 8 PM at the Hollywood Bowl.

This weekend's Dwell on Design at the Convention Center features an extensive amount of activities, offering something for everyone, from mobile food to pre-fab homes, all in the name of sustainable design.

You may have already caught them proffering their wares at various events around town -- Barnsdall Park, Venice First Fridays, Stories Books -- in their pink, chrome-rimmed converted postal jeep. But for those who haven't had the Coolhaus experience, we'll break it down for you.
