So, here we are. Living in the crazy post-Office/Pushing Daisies/30 Rock world that none of us wanted, and of course it's only about to get worse. With shows falling off like Bud Selig's credibility (zing!), the time to start seeking out alternatives is now. Of course we've already given you a good start, but believe me when I say those recommendations are the tip of the television iceberg. Lucky for you, I have the......

It took a couple of days, but it's official: Joe Torre is the new Dodger manager. The Dodgers and Torre have agreed to a three-year, $12 million contract. Torre was also negotiating to bring in bench coach Don Mattingly and third-base coach Larry Bowa which lengthened the negotiation time. Other coaches rumored to brought over are Jose Cardenal and Lee Mazzilli. The Dodgers were granted an exemption by commissioner Bud Selig from interviewing minority......

So Barry Bonds hit his big dinger last night, and we hate him for it. But we're allowed to, we live in LA. The Commissioner of Baseball, however, is not allowed to hate Barry Bonds. At least not publicly. Why? Because the Commish is supposed to be fair and without allegiance. All he is supposed to care about is Baseball's Best Interest. But clearly Bud Selig only has one interest: money. The former used......

We hate him just like you do, but Barry Bonds just tied Hank Aaron's career home run record of 755. Bonds went opposite field off a hanging curve from San Diego Padres pitcher Clay Hensley. The game in currently still on at blogtime, which is 9:10pm. If you have cable or satellite and can get ESPN2, the game is tied, 2-2 in the 6th down there at Petco Park. Bonds is still in the......

Giants 3, Dodgers 1 - Barry Bonds surprisingly was all smiles despite a bitter reception at Chavez Ravine. While he didn't tie Hammerin' Hank for the career home run title, he did reach base on two walks and scored a run. Brad Penny allowed all three runs in six innings for just his second loss of the year. Baseball royalty on hand included Tommy Lasorda, Bud Selig, and Alyssa Milano. Wait, did we just write......

Angels 8, Mariners 4 - Virginia Tech means a lot to Joe Saunders. His uncle went there. His dad went there. His mom went there. He went there. Drafted by Anaheim in 2002, he is the only Hokie alum in pro baseball. Under the circumstances, Commissioner Bud Selig allowed him to wear his college cap for Friday's game. In his first start since the tragedy at his alma mater he pitched six scoreless innings. His......

I’ve been thinking about the blog Tony Pierce posted a few days ago which was titled “Garret Anderson Doesn’t Care About Black People,” and although I didn’t initially want to respond to it, I feel that it’s necessary for me to do so. Let me start out by saying that I’ve received a handful comments on my posts that have basically implied that I don’t know what I’m talking about when I’ve expressed my......
