Seven Questions: David Cross

David Cross has made audiences laugh their asses of on stage with his brilliant and vicious style of stand-up, on television in his incredibly funny work on "Arrested Development" as never nude analrapist Tobias Funke and as one-half of the team that gave us the hilarious HBO sketch comedy show "Mr. Show with Bob and David," on CD with is Grammy nominated Shut Up You Fucking Baby! and on the big screen. Now, David brings his brand of humor to the written form with his first book, I Drink for a Reason.

TV Junkie: 'My Boys' Returns; Late Night TV Hot Tonight

We love comedians Jim Gaffigan and Jamie Kaler so therefore we just kind of have to like TBS' "My Boys" which has its season premiere tonight. While the show isn't any less funny than any of the big network shows, Jim Gaffigan's bits are the highlight of every episode - we wish TBS would build a show around him as the lead, c'mon already.

How much money would it take for you to go on tv night after night and be wrong about things? Millions? Tens of millions?

If there's one site that LAist loves loves loves it's Digg. The power of The Hive has been manifested beautifully in sites like Metafilter and Fark and SlashDot but never with as much Web 2.0 power-to-the-people panache as Kevin Rose's much heralded uber-site. Likewise if theres one production company LAist loves it's Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films. These are the Los Angelenos who have made hard-hitting low-budget left-leaning hit pieces on Wal*Mart, The Bush...

LAist: Snoop we love you! Snoop Dogg: I accept your love and return it back to you snoop-fold. Bro, you're playing at the Henry Fonda Theatre next Tuesday the 26th with a live band for a BET Awards after party. And tickets haven't sold out yet. What's up with that? Oh it's chill, my cousin. People sometimes need things to percolate before it strikes them that they can see Big Snoop Dogg live and...

If you ask us, Stephen Colbert does a way better O'Reilly than Bill, and schooled the Fox News host on both The Factor and The Report last night. He was way funnier, stayed in character better, had sweeter lines, and was more surprising than Senor Loofah, even while in the No-Spin Zone. Some might say that Colbert delivered a first-round knockout to O'Reilly when he snuck a bomb past Bill-O only seconds after sitting...

Sometimes we wonder if Bill O'Reilly isn't just trying to get on "Countdown's" Worst Person in the World. Last Friday after inviting University of Minnesota-Duluth Professor Jim Fetzer on The Factor to discuss why he believed the 9/11 tragedies were orchestrated via the White House, O'Reilly refused to let the man speak. LAist trusts this government, blindly. And we object to questioning anything this administration has been involved in, or in the case of...
