Tonight London-based electronic singer-songwriter Imogen Heap will be performing to a sold-out crowd at Henry Fonda Music Box. Local indie rockers the Happy Hollows (LAist Review, #2, #3) are continuing their month-long residency at Spaceland. And, lastly, LA-based lo-fi pop act Best Coast will be gracing the Smell in Downtown. But we strongly suggest heading to Club Nokia to catch South Carolina-by-way-of-Seattle folk rockers Band of Horses. LAist favorites Warpaint (LAist Review, #2, #3) are slated to kick things off.

Tonight In Rock: Roger Daltrey, Brand New, Patrick Watson, The Soft Pack

Tonight legendary English singer-songwriter, best known as the founder and lead singer of the Who, will be headlining the Orpheum Theatre in Downtown. Long Island-bred pop punk outfit Brand New are poised to make their long-awaited return to Los Angeles, performing twice at the Hollywood Palladium as well with Atlanta-based indie rock act Manchester Orchestra and Portland's own folk rockers the Builders and the Butchers (LAist Interview) in tow. And, lastly, San Diegan garage rockers the Soft Pack (LAist Interview) will be taking on the Echoplex with none other than lo-fi noise-infused rock duo Wavves, Sacramento-bred psych quartet Ganglians and, of course, local lo-fi pop act Best Coast. But we strongly suggest heading over to Largo at the Coronet to catch Québécois singer-songwriter Patrick Watson.

Tonight In Rock: Blitzen Trapper, Pop Levi, Saint Motel, Best Coast

Tonight Portland's own experimental rock sextet Blitzen Trapper (LAist Interview) will be headlining the El Rey Theatre with none other than Baltimore-bred folk rock duo Wye Oak (LAist Interview) in tow. English psych-pop singer-songwriter Pop Levi (LAist Review) is poised to take on the Roxy with local experimental rock duo El Ten Eleven. And, lastly, LA-based alt-country troubadour Leslie and the Badgers will be closing out their residency at the Echo with local lo-fi pop act Best Coast. But we strongly suggest heading over to Spaceland to catch the final night of local indie rock outfit Saint Motel's (LAist Interview) month-long residency. LAist favorites, Burbank-based experimental psych folk outfit Gangi (LAist Review) and Silver Lake-based indie rockers Links are slated to perform as well.

Tonight Levittown-bred rockers Brand New will be performing to a sold-out crowd at the Troubadour with none other than Dios (LAist Interview, Review, #2) in tow. NY-based rapper Cage is poised to headline the El Rey Theatre. LAist favorites, Chicagoist-approved electro rock trio Hey Champ will be gracing Bardot before they make the big trek home. And, lastly, Brooklyn-based dance band and art/performance collective Men will be taking on Spaceland with San Franciscan electro pop act Hey Willpower. But we strongly suggest heading over to Out of Asia to catch Beach Dazed, FMLY's twelve hour celebration of Los Angeles' music and arts community. LAist favorites Busdriver (LAist Review, #2), Best Coast, RJD2, Voxtrot and Haim will be performing, among many others.

Tonight legendary English blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Eric Clapton will be performing at Hollywood Bowl with Steve Winwood. Brooklyn-based buzz band Amazing Baby are poised to stop by Origami Vinyl early on in the evening. And, lastly, local country troubadours Leslie and the Badgers will be headlining Spaceland with none other than the Chapin Sisters and Olin and the Moon (LAist Interview) in tow. But we strongly suggest heading over to Echo Curio, which we rarely do, to catch Best Coast, an LA-based pop project of Bethany Consentino of Pocahaunted along with Bobb Bruno. NY-based folk rockers Soft Black are slated to kick things off.
