Parents of Missing Woman to Call on FBI to Aid in Search

It's been two weeks since Miltrice Richardson went missing. Hours later at approximately 1:25 a.m. she was released, walking out with no car and no cell phone.

“It’s nearly impossible to stay anonymous in this age of cell phones, video, and social websites; and that’s a good thing, if it holds people more accountable for their behavior,” said Lt. Paul Vernon, head of LAPD detectives downtown, today about the 20th arrest related to the Lakers Championship melee on June 14th (a list of all arrests are embedded below). Detectives have been using security footage from around downtown, complementing it with videos and images posted on websites like YouTube and Flickr.

Lindsay Lohan is Wanted...By the Beverly Hills Police

Yesterday, the Beverly Hills Police Department issued an arrest warrant for actress Lindsay Lohan, according to the Huffington Post. The BHPD released this statement last night:

In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner.
Back in 2007, Lohan was taken in twice, and "pleaded no contest to being under the influence of cocaine, driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and reckless driving," according to Hollyscoop.com. Part of her plea deal stipulated that she be on probation for 36 months, do 10 days of community service, complete an 18-month alcohol education program, and spend 24 hours in jail (she spent a whopping 84 minutes in jail).

Anger Management Might Make Chris Brown 'look better'

Monday afternoon, R&B singer Chris Brown was in Glendale. He wasn't shopping at the Americana, mind you, but rather was showing up for his first anger management class. Brown, who turned himself in after allegedly making criminal threats against his girlfriend, Rihanna, is not required to take the class, but his team think it's a good idea, according to the New York Daily News. "Chris doesn't actually have to go by law but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before [his] March 5[th court date]," a source told the paper. Just how much of the law will affect Brown is not known, but many believe he won't face jail time. He will, however, have to face Rihanna, who is expected to testify against the 19-year-old in court. 'Looking better' is a curious concern for Brown, who certainly didn't do much to improve Rihanna's appearance on the night in question.

It's been a streak of bad news of late for the finger print experts who work for the LAPD; recently uncovered errors on their part have led to 945 cases coming under review.

3rd Time's a Charm: Another Man Brings a Gun to LAX

For the third time in four days, LA Airport Police have arrested a man for bringing a gun to LAX. "Markus Dane Sargent, 27, was taken into custody about 7 a.m. on World Way West, which is used by employees getting into the airport, Airport Police Sgt. Jim Holcomb said," via wire reports. "An antique .22-caliber long rifle made by the Marlin Firearms Co. loaded with 12 rounds was found in the trunk of his car at a perimeter checkpoint, Holcomb said." Like Saturday's incident, Sargent, who worked for an airport vendor, forgot that he had the gun in his car. And to boot, he was busted for possession of a small amount of marijuana--double tsk. On both Friday and Saturday in unrelated cases, men were arrested for bringing guns onto airport grounds.
