Dear Laist, "Did Lifehacker steal your story AND map?"

Dear Laist,
So I was goofing off at work and realized I hadn't checked in with Curbed L.A. to see what they thought about yesterday's groundbreaking at Hollywood and Vine and I scrolled down and saw that they jacked your story AND headline about the GoogleMaps improvements. Your headline on Sunday was "New Google Maps Upgrade Proves LA Has a Subway" and CLA on Monday wrote "GoogleMaps Confirms Metro Exists".
In astonishment I saw that they didn't credit Laist for their story and headline. Instead they sourced Lifehacker's blog on Monday. So I read their blog and big as day there's a close-up of your graphic! With no attribution to Laist.
Of all the subway stations in all of GoogleMaps and Lifehacker picks one of the two that you use in your blog the day before?
How does it feel to be dissed like that Laist?

Dear Eddie,
The only diss we feel is you keep misspelling our name. It's LA with an ist squooshed next to it.
So LAist.
As for whatever bullshit you're trying to spread, we stole the story from a post off the Mothership on Saturday.
And we are happy that Curbed did the story because they showed us that those free-lunch eating stoners at Google still have the Ambassador as a building outline instead of the unforgivable scar that should be represented there.
Even though we seriously doubt that we had any influence over the posts of those two fine web sites, if we did we're severely flattered.
