LA Derby Dolls: Saturday at 6:30 p.m., Little Tokyo
It's almost sold out, if not already by the time we press publish. This sport is about as local and special to LA as you can get. Two teams in the country play roller derby on a banked tracked and we have it here. Support your local punk rock kittens because it is a blast. Saturday's bout is between the Tough Cookies and Fight Crew.

Punk Rock Social - LIVE: Saturday at 6:00 p.m., Alex's Bar in Long Beach
Lots of people go to this monthly punkly mixer with live bands (not to be confused with PRS gatherings at the Burgundy Room, previously at Molly Malones) to meet up, drink a lot and listen to music. This month features the Groovie Ghoulies, Fabulous Disaster, The Dollyrots and Regal Beagle.
