Hi!
I took the cupcake picture...very cool of you to give props (some sites have just taken my photos)....the cupcakes were from Butter Cake Bakery on Pico...and they are very good. Taste like home.

Jess -- I'm so glad you like how we've used your photo! I was feeling like I wanted a cupcake photo to beat the Monday morning blues...but as we are the LAist...it couldn't be just ANY cupcake photo! It had to be from an LA resident and an LA bakery -- your shot was perfect! Thank you!
