LAist Prediction of the Day: Clippers over Warriors Tonight

clipper girls

Gambling is illegal in Los Angeles and it should be.

For if it were legal, LAist would bet the damn farm on the Clippers beating the crap out of the Golden State Warriors tonight at Staples.

Why? Numbers. The Warriors just pulled the trigger on an eight-player trade that leaves the visitors with just six healthy players on their squad.

NBA rules say you must dress eight or forfeit.

The AP is speculating that the Warriors will probably throw a uniform on one of their least-ailing players and sign someone in the next few hours to a 10-day contract. Is Dennis Rodman in the house?

But what it means is the Clips will probably be able to whallop all over the probably-just-six Warriors who are now minus Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy Jr. - Dunleavy had 18 points and a 13 rebounds in the Clippers 108- 93 loss to Golden State on Monday.

If you're reading this in Vegas, put your money on the home team.

yeah, but you're gonna give up 25-30 points on the spread i bet... and w/ the way the clip-joint's been playing this year, no thanx...

that's a craaaaaazy trade! I never understood why Murphy and Dunleavy were never bigtime for the lowly Warriors -- but Al Harrington and Stephen "Trouble" Jackson???

6 points is all youve gotta give up to bet on the clips

only 6?? wow, i thought it would have been at least 10... but i guess w/ the way the clips are playing this year, the bookies arent giving them any credit.

ahahah i think youre right Z
