LAist Exclusive: Gun Battle in North Hollywood

What the damn hell is going on around here anyways? There're gunshots, trucks are fish-tailing all over Oxnard & Coldwater Canyon, and whats with the screaming gypsies?

Just another hum-drum night in NoHo, i guess.

The real story is that LAist's cousin has some burly neighbors. And like, these kinds of episodes are going down on a weekly, ya heard me?

Good news is there were zero casualties, unless you count the banged-up Caddy in the second video, that drives away with a door that can't shut.

Second video after the jump.

As the officers at Van Nuys Station like to say, "on Oxnard, it's a tough neighborhood" (but they were more referring to Woodman & Oxnard, a mile West of there). That incident is right by LA Valley College.

You can take the people out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the people.

DUDE THATS INSANE!

The problem with citizen journalists is they can't hold their cameras still.

hc, id Love to see you in the street with a camera rolling as bullets are flying. the problem with armchair quarterbacks is most the time they have their heads up their ass.

Great job Anti!

The scariest thing I videotaped this week was a 2 year old who wanted more gummi worms!
