Where Have All the Pretty People Gone?

LAist tipster Jennifer pointed out a Flickr photo series in two parts entitled Ridiculous Los Angeles. Imagine our delight when we found photo after photo of bad breast jobs, stupid boys wearing winter jackets and ski boots when it's 85 out and musclemen smoking cigarettes on the street.
Basically, Malingering (the photographer) is a paparazzi, but he's chasing us regular schmucks instead of Brangelina. Part of us is appalled, but we can't decide who to focus our indignation on, Malingering for taking these photos, or the fashion victim morons who think polka dot hair cuts are appropriate ever.
I know what you're saying. "People should be able to express themselves however they want. What kind of world do we live in that we can't even wear a belly skirt in public without it winding up on some guy's snarky photoblog?" Well, LAist agrees with you completely. This is why we live in a dusty old ramshackle mansion, screening old silent films of ourselves day in and day out.

Hard to defend LA with proof like this.
Angelenos have the worst taste in footwear in the universe.

I think she's brilliantly gutsy. Malingering points out what we all want to but don't for fear of getting smacked on the back of our heads by our moms...and karma.

She feigns ignorance and pretends she can't speak English when confronted by someone whose picture she's snapped. My hero!

Malingerling is a total asshole. A mean spirited, juvenile little chicken shit loser. For whatever reason she has developed a following.
Her photos are awful, her comments are not clever or funny in the least.
Total waste of a camera.

Scott? Is that really you Daniel? Yeah, someone's a loser alright

Scott needs to show us what he can do with a camera and his comments. Given the number of people that follow Malingering's photos, I'd say there were worse things you could do with a camera.

Eh, Scott? Malingering is now a columnist on this fine website.
And you are not.
Looks like she has an even huger following for her photography and commentary.
And you do not.
