Suicide Girls Behaving Badly?

30 models have left Suicide Girls in the last few weeks complaining of unfair pay and exploitation. The women argue that while the site's alt-porn image is built on empowerment and a feminist-forward thinking erotica aesthetic, the Los Angeles based company is really run by a man, Sean Suhl. Wired points to unPink and tales from the dark site , blogs that are pulling together stories of unfair treatment by former suicide girls.
SG frontwoman Missy says that all of their complaints are unfounded.
We wonder if SG Radio will talk about the issues this week on their Indie 103 show.

Also worth noting is that the site's founder is a big Republican with a hard on for Porn and George Bush. Bad combo but whatever floats his boat, I guess.

Pimping is pimping.
Sean "Spooky" Suhl's capitalist triumph, despite its costume, another clear example.
Gender, class, race, all three "conditions" distort the value so often accorded to "choice," so any pathetic arguments about the right's war on "sex" work or "choices" white, middle class women indulging patriarchy are privileged to make ONLY show many people's sheer ignorance.
Leftists, authentic Leftists, challenges agents which cultivate a socialised inequity.
