Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver Who Injured Bicyclist

Authorities are hoping the public can identify the suspect in a hit-and-run incident from early August that left a bicyclist injured after she was struck while riding in Hollywood.

The unidentified 25-year-old woman was riding eastbound on Selma Avenue at the intersection of Cahuenga Boulevard and Selma Avenue at around 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. She was struck by the driver of a dark colored Land Rover Range Rover Sport, who stopped and exited his vehicle, but then got back in his car and drove away from the scene.

The victim was critically injured.

The driver is described as a male White in his 20’s to 30’s with blonde or light brown hair. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall.

The LAPD has released composite sketches of the suspect, as well as stills showing his vehicle.
