Reason 419 Why I Love Costco
Hot dogs and pizza. I may be the last of a dying breed of carnivores in Southern California, so whenever I get a chance to eat not just white, red, but pink kosher meat, I take it! Yep, at Costco you can get a Hebrew National hot dog AND drink for only $1.50. All that sweet goodness for only that much? It’s true and scrumptious.
If you’re not into biting the juiciest hot dog of your life, you can order pizza: pepperoni, combo, or cheese. Each slice is big, not too greasy, and melts in your mouth every time. And just because Costco is so great like that, one can even order a whole pizza for $9.95 while waiting in the checkout line. Having a fresh, yummy pizza ready for you once you exit the enormous store makes the line you’ve just been waiting in not so bad.
It should be noted that the Costco menu also provides a very berry sundae, non-fat frozen yogurt, churro, berry smoothie, mocha freeze, chicken bake, chicken Caesar salad, and hand dipped ice cream bars. Although I’ve been to Costco many times in my life, I’ve never had any of those items. Not that they aren't just as tasty, but I’m usually too full after I’ve eaten my hot dog and cheese pizza.
So even though Reason 235, purchasing large quantities of toilet paper and booze, is one of my favs, Reason 419 is definitely in my top 2. Nothing tastes better than a really great bargain.

The chicken Caesar is good. You can take it home and eat it within a day or two (the dressing's in a separate container).

we have costco out here by the beach too...
and their hot dogs are just as tastey!

the only thing i can't take is the Chicken Bake. but the hot dogs really are solid.

ACtually, there are only 4 Costcos in the Valley. I understand they are looking to bring 9 more Costcos to the City - all of which are targeted above the 10 freeway. Go figure!
