What a treat for San Diego's Street Scene Music Festival, to have "The Killers",as the Headline Band.!! (the best song-writers and live performers, in the past decade)
They have been the Headline Band, at nearly every Music Festival in the U.K., this year. (including "Glastonbury" - the greatest, if muddiest, Music Festival in the world!!!)
You are also going to be able to see "The Arctic Monkeys", a great U.K. Band.
Being English, it amazes me how American music lovers seem to ignore the incredible talent, this young Band has. (The Brits. recognised it five years ago!!!)
Lighten up America - you should be giving this Band the recognition they deserve. It will be interesting to see in 20yrs., which Bands we will still be remembering. I'd put a bet on, it won't be any of these "hip" bands, that are crap live and whose song-writing will soon be forgotten!!
I look forward to travelling to San Diego, in September, to enjoy the musical talent, that is "The Killers" !!!
Luv Alana. xxx
P.S. As Brandon Flowers says; "SMILE LIKE YOU MEAN IT"!!!
P.P.S. Actually, I've changed my mind - I hope The Killers don't catch on in America. (I want to keep them to myself!!!)
