this is a terrible tradegy made even worse (if possible) by the complete lack of tact and professionalism being exhibited by local and national TV and cable news channels.
i tried to watch CNN today during their "coverage" and after about five minutes had to turn it off. they had a soundtrack for their coverage already during nancy grace. as if this horrible event needs to be accompanied by dramatic music for more "impact." that's why i still read the paper -- and LAist of course.
