LACityNerd's 5-Question LA History Quiz
So after Sunday's Question and Monday's Answer, the LA City Nerd challenged LAist and you, our readers to a quiz: "I saw you posted a Pop Quiz on LAist, and thought I'd see if I could challenge your readers with an LA City Nerd Pop Quiz."
So here you go kids, let's go at it! Put your guesses and answers in the comments section.

#1 Newton?
#2 Manhattan Beach, until racist locals chased them out. Now the site of Culiacan Park.
#3, not sure...so snowbirds from Chicago could come watch the Cubs play at L.A.'s Wrigley Field?
#4 Breed Street Shul
#5 ...again, I'm guessing. All 3 have received grants from the Getty Foundation.

1) Long Division. Or is it Joy Division? I get the two confused.
2) Trick question. The belief that centuries turn is a widespread -- some might even say universal -- misconception.
3) That one's loaded. "So many motels" can be inferred as being a bad thing. But is it?
4) Too easy: El Tepeyac, where she put away only about an eighth of a Manuel's Special.
5) They all weigh the same. To the frickin' ounce. It's uncanny.
